Megalong Road is a picturesque winding road located in the beautiful Megalong Valley in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Australia.

The route follows the length of the valley, stretching from Blackheath at the start to the end of the valley at the Megalong Cemetery.

Along the way, the road passes through rolling hills, lush green pastures and rainforest-covered mountains, taking in the area's breathtaking scenery. 

The dirt surface is only at the very end, so depending on how badly you want to get to those little wineries, you can skip it and turn back to the Great Western Highway.
