If you're heading along the coast, give Wonthaggi a miss and take the Glen Alvie Tourist Road instead. Beautiful mix of corners with unusually scenic views across rolling green hills in the central section, when the road follows the ridge. A real pillion pleaser. 100% sealed, mostly good quality with some bumpy sections, but slow right down for the blind 30 km/h corner (the only one on this ride) near Kongwak, as the surface on that corner is falling apart.
